Dynasty? Pfff...

I didn't want to say anything until I knew that most people saw the SuperBowl but yeah the Patriots won. Actually I had a weird feeling that they would because we all know that no matter how good the Eagles are under pressure. Or shall I say Donovan McNabb.

My comments on the game...

The game was ok. The Eagles put up a good fight but what happened? Well there was enough footbal drama. The interceptions, the challenges, and fumbles. If McNabb was on his game (like he was all season) then maybe the Eagles could have done away with the "dynasty". McNabb threw like crap the whole game. The real props shouldn't go to the Pats Defense but the recievers for the Eagles. All game the passes were in the dirt or behind them. I surprised that the score was so close. So the passing game wasn't happening, what do you think they should of done? Maybe run the ball? Westbroook was a little shakey in the start of the game but seemed to be doing well in the latter.

The Pats on the other hand were decent. This is where I quote my friend Steve, "I can't stand the Patriots being considered a dynasty. They always seem to win by three points AND after the fact that the opponents have 3-4 turnovers. That's not good football, that's being lucky." Which is very believable. I never really paid any attention to the Pats but it seems this is true. Brady is considered one of the best under pressure quaterbacks in the league being 9-0 in the post season but the game was not won on offense but on defense. And a quote of Kevin, "They maybe winning by three points but you need to give credit to the defense for causing/retrieving all the turnovers." Which I also agree with. Real football fans say that the DEFENSE is what makes a team great aka The Bucs. But unlike the BUCS the Pats seem to be getting a lot of publicity on their offense, especailly in the quaterback position. Let's face it something is wrong with the BUCS offense but they don't get the credit, the Defense does. Completely oppossite with the Pats.

Final thoughts... the SuperBowl was very entertaining to watch. I don't like the Eagles, never did. And them losing 3 NFC championship games as well as the SuperBowl, doesn't flatter them at all. I feel sorry for the Eagles actually. So much pressure on McNabb, so much money, only to take the team to the last stretch and trip before the goal line. I don't like the Patriots, never did. Winning three out of the last 4 Superbowls, looks good on paper but not in the game. Give props to their Defense and they should be glorified rather than the Karismatic Brady. Both teams not my favorite but someone had to win...

So anyways feeling really forgetful recently. I seem to be leaving things and forgetting where I put them. For instance yesterday I lost my bike keys, scarf, and official Board of Education name tag. Bike keys I eventually found but the name tag and scarf are missing. I have some clue to where the name tag is... on the train platform. Yesterday the name tag got tangled with my earphones and I remember unknotting them and then rushing onto the train. So the name tag might be lost forever. I guess I could ask for a new one...

The scarf is still a mystery. I can barely remember the last time I wore it. I believe it was last Wednesday. It was the day that it was snowing like crazy. After that I don't recall wearing it. I think I'm losing my mind.

One more thing, I forgot how cool the movie Gladiator was. We watched it last night and it is a really badass movie. Everything except the whole sister-complex thing. That gives me the willies. But the battles, figthing, blood, swords, and spears nothing makes a better movie. Maybe sex scene or something but if the only sex scene that was possible in the story was the brother - sister thing then, I'll pass. Watch the movie again and you'll be chanting MAXIMUS in no time. Oh yeah how can you have a name like Maximus and not do what he did? Honestly, conquer armies for Rome, become a Gladiator, and kill the Caesar is not for a person named Bob or Harry, unless it was Harry Potter (he seems to get out of anything). But yeah what a name to live up to... Maximus...
