So Anyway....

Right... So yeah we waited forever to ride any of he rides. And bvecause we were in the lines so often that the at we never really got a chance to really see all the diferent lands. But we did get the oppurtunity to stop by San Francisco Candies and get really awesome tasting pumpkin anf maple cookies. I would also like to comment on the fact that the Halloween decorations that I missed so much were all over Universal's. I was so surprised that it was such a big thing. They even had a center park thing all decked out as a giant tomb or something. I really really miss Halloween...

So anyway we ended up leaving the park at closing in fear that we might miss the last train home to Kyoto. We made it on time but the trains in Kyoto had stopped and we had to catch a cab. We ended up eating at about 1:00 in the morning and catching another cab home even though the walk was maybe 10 minutes from our house. We were that tired, my legs were like jelly that night.

So the weekend was pretty packed, not to mention that our friend Zena was also coming from Gunma. She had brought 5 friends to explore Kyoto but because we were with Lisa we didn't even get to see them. Lisa and I only saw Zena and Krystal may have seen the other part as they were leaving in the stairway. I guess I feel kind of gulity but we did get to spend some time with Zena and that's all that matters. Next time she can come and she would have undivded attention.

So on Monday we woke up as late as we could but not too late that Lisa could enjoy Krystal and my favorite sushi place... Kura Kura Sushi. Just like Genkis remember.... We took Lisa there and lets just say that all that came from Lisa were moans of pleasure and squeals of delight. She was totally loving the place. She took pictures and bascially tried everything that looked appetizing to her (which was basically everything). After sushi we took her around to buy some omiyage for her friend back in Fukuoka. It was a nice weekend and both Krystal and I were sad that it had ended so quickly. We finally said goodbye to LIsa at the train station but not before we snuck some snacks into her bag. (which was 1 of like 4) Then we teased her with a text message that made absolutely no sense if she didn't find her snacks. We had a good laugh.

So Tuesday come around, I think I caught a cold because my throat is like really itchy and my nose keeps acting funky. It was probably from all the fun this weekend and my body not being able to keep up with the very cool weather. BUT TUESDAY was Krystal's birthday!! I needed to find a present fast. I figure we spent the whol weekend together and I didn't really have time to sneak off to buy something. So Tuesday after work was my only day. I biked it over to a Jusco (department store) and bought her a backpack. She had bought one recently and it was really cheap. The bag had already started to fall apart and bascially you get what you paid for.
So bought her a cool Nike bag and did the boyfriend thing and got her flowers. It was pretty bouquet, if I do say so myself. At night we planned on going to a mexican restaurant but they happen to be closed on Tuesdays ( I find that pretty weird). We ended up going to an Italian restaurant that had really good appetizers and cheese fondu. Actually that was only the second time I had fondu and it was very good. It sounded like Krystal had a very eventful birthday weekend.... (she was snoring like crazy, not to mention she woke up in the middle of the night to tell me "I don't have anymore to spend") What that meant... I have no idea...
